Spanish and Football Summer Camp 2024
SPANISH LESSONS + FOOTBALL
In collaboration with one of the best technical academies of football in Spain, ACATEC, Iberian Camps offers its language summer camps for teenagers aged 11 to 17 years, interested in coming to Spain to learn Spanish and having fun with their favourite sport, football, together with teens of the same age from different nationalities. Moreover, they’ll be able to meet other Spanish campers also staying at the same residence.
The main objective of this camp is that our participants have a great time, while they learn and enrich themselves by socialising with young people from other countries and by discovering a different country and culture.
The participants have 4 hours of Spanish lessons every morning, from Monday to Friday. Afterwards they will join with the international campers of our English Summer Camp and our French Summer Camp to spend the rest of day altogether. In the afternoon, they’ll play football and they will improve their skills with UEFA PRO and UEFA B licensed coaches who also have a lot of experience training young teams in regional categories.
This professional football training academy, which currently has 15 national and 3 international offices, has been chosen by Iberian Camps to train our campers in the afternoons with its exclusive ACATEC Methodology, successfully forming free and intelligent soccer players, with values, academic soundness and future employability.
This sports activity will take place in the fantastic sports facilities of the University of Alicante and in the sports facilities of Alicante city, where this Academy has two 8-a-side football pitches, one futsal pitch, an athletics track, two semi-covered sports halls, swimming pool…
2 programmes in 1: a Spanish Camp and a Soccer Camp, in the best facilities, with excursions, beach visits and lots of incredible experiences.

3 afternoons every week, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., campers will attend the football course with their exclusive ACATEC Methodology, where UEFA PRO and UEFA B licensed coaches, with experience in training young teams in regional categories, will be waiting to work with them according to their level, which will be assessed on the first day.
They will focus on promoting the specific movements that every player must master to reach the elite of football:
• Analysis and evaluation of the individual technique of each the player.
• Specific training programmes to improve key movements (dribble, header, etc.).
• Training of basic tactical areas to complement the work done by the players in their home clubs.
Activity for all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Important! In case of not reaching a minimum of 5 players, Iberian Camps reserves the right to replace this activity by the Multi-Sports or Arts&Culture programme.
Every week they have one afternoon for enjoying the water, that is swimming pool or beach.
On Friday afternoon, they do a cultural visit to a close place like Alicante city centre, Elche… or they do a fun activity like campus gymkhana, bowling, paintball, shopping…
This programme includes:
• Accommodation in residence (single room with shower room and kitchen)
• Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• 20 hours a week of Spanish lessons (native teachers, classrooms and learning materials)
• 9 weekly hours of football with ACATEC coaches (coaches, facilities and materials)
• Cultural visits
• Weekend excursions
